A great event with lots of couples tonight in Ginza.
An excellent M/F balance, a great atmosphere, and loads of couples. An all round fantastic party. Nothing more to say than that.

A big event tonight in Umeda, with lots of ladies in particular. Unfortunately the men totalled only a little over half of the women, but it didn't seem to hurt the atmosphere. We had a lot of women sign up late, which meant that there was little we could do to improve the balance so late.
A decent number of couples, although we could have hoped for more with such a lot of women present.

A small but good event in Umeda today. There was a good balance and a good number of couples.
There was a really nice atmosphere, and everyone seemed very happy and relaxed. There was a particularly spirited round of applause for each couple at the end as well, which was a splendid finish to the event.

A small but good event tonight in Ginza. It was a somewhat cozy affair, as we're not used to having so few people at our Ginza events. The M/F balance was great though, and there was a nice atmosphere with plenty of time to talk.
It makes for a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Sometimes our biggest parties have a slightly chaotic and hectic (albeit fun) feeling to them.
We had a good number of couples at the end, with most people (men and women) leaving with a date.

A small but nice event in Shinjuku tonight. There was more time to speak to people due to there being less people to speak to, which is good in a way. It makes for a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Sometimes our biggest parties have a slightly chaotic and hectic (albeit fun) feeling to them.
A good number of couples too tonight, and a good event all round.

We had another good event in Heartland today.
Unfortunately we did not have enough men, due to a very large number cancelling (that's why we have cancellation fees).
Despite the imbalance though, there was a good atmosphere, as most of the men were speaking to 2 or 3 women at a time. As with last time, most people did not leave alone. Some also stayed at the bar after the party ended (and the bar opened to the public) at 5pm.

We were a little low on men tonight in Osaka.
Nonetheless, the balance was not too bad and the atmosphere was good.

We were a little low on guys compared to the women tonight, due to a few cancellations. We still had 20 men though, and so it was a big party.
Due to the number of women to talk to, the first party of the event was super busy, with only about a minute to talk to each person. Seriously speedy speed dating! Although the negative was short introductions, the positive of course was that there were lots of women to meet. As usual, most of the men left with a date (13 out of 20), so the event was as successful as ever.

This has to be just about our greatest couple ratio ever. An amazing 13 out of 15 men left with a date. Bear in mind that everybody has 6 votes, and must vote for each other in order to become a couple. Also bear in mind that our coupling is done by preference, rather than to maximise couples. I went through the coupling cards again after the party, and if we had wanted to maximise the couples, then every man would have left as a couple. Perhaps I should have done that this time, as I felt very sorry for the 2 men out of 15 who were left sitting there at the end of the party!
What a night though.

We had a great event in Heartland today.
Lots of women, and a good number of men too. There was a great atmosphere at the party, with this event just being a free-style party, meaning people could mingle freely as they pleased. No speed dating, no numbers, no paperwork, just single men and women.
Although we didn't do any coupling, many people left together at various stages of the event, either in pairs or larger groups. There were very few people left come the end of the party at 5 o'clock, which was a little surprising, as last time we had to throw everyone out at the end of the party. For that reason, we arranged this time to allow guests to remain in the bar after the party ends. As I said though, the vast majority had already left. That's no problem though... it was good to see so many people leaving in couples!
